Hi i have a acer aspire 5050, and its been working fine for over a year now, all of a sudden it wont charge, and sumtimes say's that theres no battery conected, and also i have vista and wont let me log on to my user, say's unable to open my user account any body got any ideas please!!

New battery or new charger or even both

Don't have a clue about Vista as I use a mac

hmm ok, like i disconect the power cable it will say 0% battery, then put the cable back in and will start charging for about 20 seconds, then stop weird just as its ran out of warrenty aswell lol.
