It would physically fit quite easily id imagine, as far as the plumbings such as the ECU and such im not so sure.

so engine and gearbox .. would drop straight in with mount and everythin ??
then just have to get a 160 wiring loom and ecu ?

hhhmmm i was thinking of getting this done but id obviously notify the insurance, one question though im paying my car on finance at the minute but aslong as i keep paying them the money i owe for the car will it matter if i change the car whatsoever aslong as i plan on paying it all off?

the vvc has a PG1 box and the 1.4 an R65 or IB5 depending on year. if the engine mounts are the same, which i assume they are, the gearbox mounts will differ.

done some insurance quotes and its cheaper to buy a 1.4 and put a 160 engine init then just to get 160 insurance .. wiwerd but thats what it says
