Well the last bit was done today -the blue gel caps finally arrived! So now when the switches are on they light up blue. Looks good in the day, can't wait to see it in the dark lol. Not really happy with the brightness of the white LEDs in the switches though so I might re-do them and bring the bulb closer to the front of the switch. I'll post a pic later when it's dark

What did you do to dim the white in the buttons down? I find mine are really bright, I sanded down the tip a little but theyre still bright as hell...

Didn't do anything - actually I think mine are too dim I want them to be brighter!

If you want any colour other than red/orange you'll need to remove an orange backing from the dials. Search the forum a few people have done it. Apparently it isn't easy though!

I tried doing the clock this afternoon, it doesnt work for me... I swapped the bulb out for the white LED you linked... Sanded the orange filter off and replaced it with a white piece of paper.... It lights up the paper really well but no digits appear infront of it :s

It doesn't look anything like your clock :/

OK - in mine the filter was a bit of plastic on it's own, it just came out, nothing neded to be sanded! Obvious question, but you did put the paper behind the LED screen? Any chance you can take a couple pics of your clock?

If all else fails this s the clock I have in mine - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZR-cloc...0#ht_500wt_986
