No worries mate. Honestly most of it is very easy, all the bulbs are just straight swaps. The switch LEDs are a bit fiddly with the bulb holders, but nothing major. And taking the dash apart all you need is a screwdriver. It's just the the main instrument cluster you have to be careful with because of the needles. This is only my second car so all the mechanical and electrical things are pretty new to me too, I just followed the excellent guides here and on other MG forums. My dad is a mechanic though so maybe some of that rubbed off on me haha

Well I got the recommended SMD LEDs in the main gauges today - WOW they are bright! Maybe a little too bright... Think I'll now have to either replace them with normal bulb-type LEDs or get SMD LEDs in in the heater controls too.

Got a white LED coming for the odometer display and still waiting on the blue gel caps for the switches, and then that'll be it done. All the dials are working properly now too so I'm well happy with that!

As usual they look brighter in the pics than they do in real life - but they are very bright. Looks amazing though so I'm undecided whether to leave it as is or change the bulbs.

as long as they're not so bright that it hits you in the face every time you turn your lights on, it looks fine to me ! so much better than that orange anyways lol you could always change them & see how it looks with the normal bulbs :-)

Odo bulb replaced with LED - and thats the dials finished! Well, I think I might get some of the chrome ring dial surrounds to really finish off that Audi look

Thats pretty much exactly what I wanna do!

Its more of a pita with a SW console though as the switches are alot smaller! I've resoldered it all up 9 times now and the blue 'active' lights dont work on rear fog and rear window, however the lights that turn on with side lights all nice and white

After I get the active lights sorted I'll get a metal monkey heater surround in white and that will be center console done, you make the clock sound really easy so I might tackle that one after!
