Zr hard to put in reverse gear?

I find my zed ackward to put in reverse gear, unless i lift the clutch up a bit it's grand, any one else have this? Would changin the oil help? Is it a big job?

my usual method is to take car out of gear and come off the clutch then back on and ingear, mine usually picky due to metro/r100 quickshift so its stiff a bit

my 1.4 did this its very annoying i had to pull back to reverse gear then slowly lift the cluch till it fell in

That seems to be the general concensus! Mine is OK most of the time but if it does play up, this normally works

you might find its something to do with the reverse gear being straight cut rather than helical.

coming off the clutch, then engaging the clutch again and trying again normally sorts it

Come of the clutch take it out of gear, then try again. Usually sorts it for me!
