Upgrade vehicle? C2 vts, zs180, fiesta st150?

Moderators please move if in the wrong section...

Hi all, after recently selling my zr 160 I'm now in the market for a new car. Now I believe my zr was an absolute lemon, as the two guys I picked the car up from had less teeth between them than the car had alloy wheels! The car had a raft of problems and after sorting most of them for the MOT (almost 700 in various parts and labour !) The car decided to seize the clutch arm and snap the clutch cable. So the car was sold for spares or repairs! Now while I believe this car was, as I say, a terrible example of someone not being willing to cough out to sort issues and after a cheap sporty motor, the next vehicle I go for needs to have a fairly decent reliability. So in your opinions... what at this point would be a decent upgrade? It's between a few cars, mainly between a zs 180, a fiesta st 150, or a c2 vts. I'm not after which has the fastest 0-60mph times or which is fastest; this can be found on Google. So if anybody has any suggestions as to which would be easiest to live with, handling characteristics, driveability, fun factor and fuel/servicing costs, also a gauge on reliability of a fairly well looked after example of each, this would be much appreciated!
Cheers in advance!
