my old MG's

This is a long shot I know, but I was wondering about my old ZR's.

After 6 years with no MG's I recently got a ZS and I got wondering about my old ZR's and if there still around.

The first was a 105, very basic in side but with the full 160 body kit, reg LC52 ODB (or possibly OBD, can't quite remember ). Was in Trophy Blue and a brilliant car but got up graded to a 160, in solar red, reg BU04 TFA. This is the car I wish I hadn't had to sell, as I was the second owner, the first being MG Rover Longbridge.

The 105 was traded in at an MG garage in High Wickham, the 160 unfortunately went through ''we buy any car'', not one of my proudest moments.

If anyone knows if they still existed I would love to hear about them.

Welcome back Things have got a bit quiet round here nowadays.

Looking on the DVLA MOT history enquiry, the last MOT certificate for LC52 OBD expired on 28th July 2015, and as the DVLA vehicle enquiry returns no result for that registration, I suspect it has probably reached the end of the road - if the number had been changed the MOT history transfers to the new number, so an MOT history search would return no results for the previous number. If it was simply untaxed and no MOT it would normally show as unlicenced on the vehicle enquiry).

It does still come up on https://www.instantcarcheck.co.uk/, but it would need a full check paying for to find out if it has been subject to an insurance claim or recorded as scrapped.

BU04 TFA has recently had an MOT test (16th April) which it passed with only a couple of advisory items, and is taxed until the end of April 2017. Only 37600 miles recorded.

I didn't know about the MOT check, that's a new one on me. I didn't hold much faith in the other one as all my cars are have been personal plates.

It would be a shame if the 105 had died, it was a good car but getting on for 14 year old. I'm glad the 160 is still around, still harbour the dream of buying her back.
